Connect to Database: Google Cloud Firestore

You can connect to your own database, which allows displaying dynamic content, submitting forms, specify who can access it, while having full control of the database.

This document will show you how to connect Google Firestore Database to your website. For other databases, see MySQL, MariaDB, Postgres, MongoDB or Firebase Realtime Data

To create a new connection, from the Database view:

  1. Select Add connection

  2. From Add Connection, choose Google Firestore

  3. Fill in the following information (see Initialize the Realtime Database JavaScript SDK)

    • API Key: Firebase service API key
    • Auth Domain: Firebase service auth domain
    • Project Id: Firebase service project's id
  4. Click Create to create a new connection.

  5. Now, navigate to the main view Go back, the new connection should appear on the database list.
